Product Description

The "Quick Color Change Booth" used for powder coating is commonly referred to as a "Quick Color Change System" or "Automatic Color Change Spray Booth". It is a specially designed equipment that reduces the time required for color switching in the spraying process, improving production efficiency. The primary function is to quickly and cleanly switch between different powder coatings, avoiding the complex steps of cleaning spray guns, pipes, and the spray booth components as required by traditional spraying systems.

Working Principle

• Efficient Powder Recovery System: The powder is pneumatically driven and automatically delivered from the powder supply center to the electrostatic spray gun. Some of the powder is sprayed onto the workpiece's surface, while the remaining powder passes through a large cyclone recovery device and secondary recovery device. A small amount of powder remains on the spray booth’s inner walls. The powder is sucked by the cyclone, passes through the primary recovery device and a vibrating screen at the bottom, and is then driven by the powder recovery pump back to the powder supply center. The powder collected in the upper part of the large cyclone flows into the secondary recovery device, passing through a centrifugal filter, and is finally stored in the powder collection bin.

Unused electrostatic powder falls due to gravity and is moved by the slight negative pressure at the grooves, directly entering the filtering and recovery system, preventing powder accumulation on the booth floor and making cleaning easier.

• Automatic Color Switching: Jingtu’s powder equipment utilizes the internationally recognized large cyclone recovery system with a powder recovery rate of up to 99.2%. This ensures no powder leakage into the workshop and features a dedicated quick color change powder supply center, allowing color change in just 10-15 minutes.

Using automated control technology, the system facilitates rapid color or powder switching, ensuring the cleanliness of the equipment, minimizing color residue contamination, and reducing the time required for color change.

• Powder Screening System: During operation, the centrifugal fan crushes the air inside the spray booth through the filter cartridges, generating an outward airflow at the spray nozzle to prevent powder from escaping. Only air can pass through the exhaust fan, while the powder is blocked by the filter cartridge and remains inside the spray booth. Over time, as the powder accumulates on the filter surface, it clogs the filter, reducing the recovery effect of the system. To address this, a "pulse cleaning system" is installed to automatically clean the powder on the filter surface, ensuring smooth airflow and maintaining the efficient operation of the recovery system.
• Spray Booth Design: The design of the spray booth in the quick color change system enables efficient cleaning, especially when switching between different powder colors. The booth includes specialized cleaning devices that automatically clean spray guns and pipes, ensuring the purity of the next color.
