Black long fiber geotechnical fabric is a type of geotechnical fabric.   (I) Physical performance aspects

  • Retaining sufficient strength and elongation in both dry and wet conditions, this is achieved by using plastic fiber material, which can withstand a certain degree of tension, enhancing the soil's tensile strength and resistance to deformation, and contributing to the stability of building structures. For example, in dike projects, it can resist the pressure of soil deformation.

  • Dimensional stability

  • It has good dimensional stability and is not prone to expansion and contraction deformation under different environmental conditions, thus ensuring its performance in engineering applications. For example, in highway engineering, it can continuously and stably exert its various functions.

  • Corrosion resistance

  • It can withstand corrosion for a long time in soil and water with different acidity and alkalinity, which makes it widely used in various soil environments and water conservancy projects. For example, in coastal reclamation projects, even if it comes into contact with seawater and soil with high salt content, it will not be easily corroded and damaged.

  • Field of Civil Engineering

  • Road Engineering: Used between the base and surface layers of roads, it serves as an isolation, reinforcement, and drainage layer. It prevents the mixing of base materials with surface materials, enhancing the overall integrity and stability of road structures, while also draining water from within the pavement structure, thereby prolonging the lifespan of roads.

  • Railway Engineering: Laid beneath the railway ballast, it enhances the stability of the ballast, reduces deformation and settlement of the ballast, improves the load-bearing capacity of the railway track, and effectively drains water accumulated in the ballast.

  • Foundation Ground Treatment: In soft and weak ground treatment, black long fiber geotechnical fabric can be used as reinforcement material to improve the bearing capacity of the foundation, reduce uneven settlement of the foundation, and ensure the safety and stability of buildings.

  • Water Conservancy Engineering Field

  • Dam Protection: Laid on the slope or inside of the dam, it prevents soil erosion by water flow, enhances the dam's impermeability, and can reduce the water pressure inside the dam through drainage, thereby improving the safety of the dam.
