3. Helping to start the engine: The outer edge of the flywheel is equipped with a gear ring, which can mesh with the starter's drive gear to start the engine.
4. Reducing engine vibration: The flywheel assembly can reduce the speed fluctuation and vibration of the engine during operation and improve the smooth operation of the engine
5. Dynamic balance: The flywheel of a multi-cylinder engine needs to maintain dynamic balance with the crankshaft, otherwise the centrifugal force generated by the unbalanced mass during rotation will cause engine vibration and accelerate the wear of the main bearing.
