1. About color aberrations

2. About makeup brush hair shedding

a. About "hair shedding" of animal hair: Because animal hair is a natural material, there will be a very small amount of hair breaking and shedding which will not affect the service life and daily use of brushes. It does not belong to quality problem, please rest assured to use and kindly forgive if any inconvenience brought to you.

b. About "hair shedding" of the fiber hair: Because of the makeup brush is made by hand, the process of bundling the bristles is somewhat similar to that of bundling our hair. It is inevitable that there might be a few pieces that cannot be bundled and there will be a "floating phenomenon" similar to hair loss. If there is no large amount of pieces of bristles falling, please don’t worry. This is not a quality problem, please use it with confidence and just comb or shake the brush during the first cleaning or use to remove the floating hair.
 

c. If there are large block or many number of bristles falling, please contact our customer service support as soon as possible, we will properly solve the problems for you.

d. About " hair scattering " or "unshaped" of makeup brush bristles: due to squeezing during transportation or improper cleaning in the cleaning process, the phenomenon of "hair scattering" or "unshaped" maybe happen, please don't worry about it. These problems can be solved after washing and drying the brushes with the correct makeup brush care method we provided. 3. About wooden handle of makeup brushes

Jessup's wooden makeup brush handle is made of high-quality birch wood supplemented with seven layers of Eco-friendly coatings. Due to the fact that natural wood materials are easy to absorb water and expand, the improper cleaning methods or long-time soaking in water during the cleaning process may cause cracks in the coating of the handle. Therefore, please refer to the correct makeup brush care methods we provided while washing and drying. 4. About smell

All of Jessup products use safe and Eco-friendly materials and auxiliary materials up to strict European and American standards. Due to the outsourcing materials or the following factors, some smell may remain in the packaging or products. This is not a quality problem. Please rest assured to use.

a. Makeup brushes with animal hair. Because animal hair is a natural material, there might be some natural smell of the animal itself. These odors will change after you open the package for the first time or become very faint after washing it several times.

b. Makeup brushes with fiber bristles may have some residual smell due to its material characteristics, so there will be some smell when they are opened for the first time. These flavors will disappear after you open the package and first cleansing.

Makeup brushes Care

1. Dry powder brush (Powder Brush, Blush Brush, Eye shadow Brush, etc.):

After use, please wipe along the direction of the hair on the tissue paper to wipe off the excess residual cosmetics; it is recommended to use Jessup professional activated carbon sponge brush cleaner to clean, rub the makeup brush back and forth on the sponge to wipe the excess residual The powder sweeps away from the bristles. Frequent users are advised to wash with clean water and detergent once every 1 to 2 weeks.

2. Cream brushes (Foundation brush, Eyeliner brush, Concealer brush, etc.):

After each use, please wash with water to prevent the growth of bacteria; it is recommended to use Jessup's professional multi-functional silicone brush cleaner to clean it, using different textures according to different brush heads to rub down on the brush cleaner with a small amount of detergent while washing, finally clean it up with water.

3. Animal hair brushes

Animal hair brushes are recommended to use fancy soap, baby shampoo, or professional cleaning agents but without soap base and no alcohol. Please be gentle when cleaning to avoid scattering of the animal hair. After cleaning, smooth the brush hair from the hair root to the hair top with your fingers, and then place the hair side of the brush down in a cool and ventilated place to dry naturally. After semi-drying, you can fix a netting cover on the hair to avoid the phenomenon of unshape after cleaning.

Note: Do not use hot water over 40℃ for cleaning; wooden makeup brushes should not be soaked in water for a long time; do not use a hairdryer; do not expose to sunlight, please place in a dry and cool area to dry.
