IBCs (Intermediate Bulk Containers, Totes and Cubes) are an economical way to transport and store liquids, fluids and chemicals safely. These containers are strong, stackable and easy to transport, and as they are palletized they are easily moved with a forklift or pallet jack.
Our 1000L plastic IBC tank making extrusion blow molding machine is designed to make 500-1000L IBC Tanks. It has a special screw tailored to the UHMWPE material, which ensures uniform heating and fast production; it can make 500 pieces in a day with a cycle time of 135 seconds.
Changing colors is common among IBC manufacturers; the special designed die head ensures a quicker switch, saving electric energy. 8 kW of electricity is needed for one IBC tank.
We have machines with a single-layer, two-layer, and three-layer configuration for customers to choose from. By using a three-layer machine, IBCs with a larger range of applications can be manufactured with less additive cost. Because the additives are usually added to the outer layer, using a one-layer machine will use more additive than a three-layer machine, since a three-layer machine will require additives to only its outer layer.
