Caliper function

The brake caliper can make the brake no longer weak, shorten the braking distance of the vehicle, improve the braking performance and ensure driving safety. The caliper is equipped with dust cover to prevent impurities from damaging the piston. In addition, it is also equipped with anti noise shrapnel to fix the brake skin to reduce the noise in daily use.

Brake caliper is a caliper device with the functions of decelerating, stopping or maintaining the stopped state of moving wheels. It is generally used in disc brake system. The disc brake is composed of a brake oil pump, a brake disc connected to the wheel and a brake caliper on the disc. When braking, the high-pressure brake oil pushes the piston in the caliper and presses the brake shoes against the brake disc, resulting in braking effect.

In general, the calipers of vehicles delivered from the original factory are configured with one-way single piston. The main disadvantage of this design is that under the condition of fierce braking, the caliper will bend to both sides and deform. Three principles for identifying the direction of the brake caliper: 1. Under all installation conditions, the opening of the oil drain screw (vent) must face upward; 2. On the contrary, the position of the external oil pipeline of the brake caliper must face downward; 3. When the brake disc rotates, its rotation direction path must follow the direction from the small piston to the large piston of the brake caliper

Brake Disc

There are many kinds of modified brake discs. The common ones are punching, scribing, punching + scribing, crescent scribing disc, etc. the inner side of the brake disc is generally designed with a vent. The function of the brake disc vent is to dissipate heat for the brake disc and bring heat out of the brake disc through the vent. The installation method of refitting the brake disc depends not only on the marking and punching direction of the outer surface, but also on the direction of the air vent inside the brake disc. For civilian refitted vehicles, the common installation method is that the scribed inner side of the brake disc passes through the caliper first, which can not only ensure the removal of brake powder, but also ensure the durability of the brake pad. The outside of the marking line of the brake disc passes through the caliper first. This method has better braking performance than the previous one. However, the wear of the brake pad will be intensified and the service life of the brake pad is relatively short. For the brake disc with inclined vent, it is generally installed in the direction of "forward" (when rotating in a positive direction, the inner side is in the front and the outer side is in the rear). The heat of the brake disc can be thrown out from inside to outside with the help of air flow. Of course, there are some vents with straight design. This product only needs to consider the marking and punching direction of the appearance.
