API 16A Drilling Spool AISI 4130 High Pressure Integral Forging Spool
The drilling spool is conformed with API 16A standard, as the drilling spool is pressure-containing piece of equipment, it is made of the alloy steel forging , which make the drilling spool more reliable. The drilling spool is fitted with outlets to connect the lines extending to Choke and Kill Manifolds.Normally the drilling spools are designed with the same nominal top and bottom end connections while side outlets may differ from each other. The top & bottome connections and outlets fo the drilling spool can be studded or flanged.
Drilling spool is often used with Blowout Preventers to space pieces of equipment apart. It is fitted with outlets to attach lines extending to Choke and Kill Manifolds
