API 6A Integral Forged Riser Spool For Wellhead Equipment Connection
The wellhead adapter spool is applied for Well Head extension, B.O.P. spacing, and Choke, Kill, and Production Manifold applications. The Space Spool / Riser Spool is a sort of wellhead adapter spool and made of integral alloy steel forging, the wellhead adapter spool is designed and manufactured in accordance with API 6A, and have end connectors in same size or different size, rated working pressure. The spacer spool / riser spool is pressure-containing piece of equipment. As the part of wellhead equipment, the adapter spools have no provision for suspension of tubular member and for sealing of tubular members. The spacer spool provide separation between two components.The spacer spool usually has the same nominal end connections. The other kind of adapter spool has different size and pressure rating.
