"Lou Eat" is a dining chair, designed by Philippe Starck with Dai Sugasawa and manufactured by Driade, with a compact high density polyurethane structure reinforced by a metal insert. Leather cover. Indoor use only. DIMENSIONS: D. 23.2", W. 22.8", H. 31.8", Seat H. 17.7" Philippe Starck said about "Lou Eat": “Lou Eat is not a chair, it's an animal-like sculpture that could eat you.” "Lou Eat" and "Lou Think", along with "Lou Read", form the Lou Read family, a seating collection that features plastic and sculptural shapes. Lou Eat is the easiest and most versatile item in the collection, a small armchair upholstered in leather. Conceived as a dining room seat, it's also ideal as the sole protagonist of spaces. PHILIPPE STARCK is an internationally acclaimed French creator, designer and architect. His profound comprehension of contemporary mutations, his determination to change the world, his anticipatory concern for environmental implications, his love of ideas, his desire to defend the intelligence of usefulness and the usefulness of intelligence have accompanied one iconic creation after the other.
