A narrow bandpass filter with half bandwidth of 10nm is an important optical component in optical application and laser technology, especially in semiconductor lasers. In a certain band, there is only a small section of high transmittance passband in the middle. On both sides of the passband is the cut-off band with high reflectivity. This kind of narrow-band filter is collectively called band-pass filter. The main function is to select the spectrum of light so that the light needed can pass through and the light of unnecessary wavelength can be cut off. At present, the band-pass filter has a wide range of applications as an optical component for filtering and selecting spectral lines.
