QCA9880-BR4A-R is a highly integrated wireless local area network (WLAN) system-on-chip (SoC) for 5 GHz 802.11ac or 2.4/5 GHz 802.11n WLAN applications.

Dynamic frequency selection (DFS) in required 5-GHz bands when used as an AP
3x3 MIMO technology improves effective throughput and range over existing 802.11a/b/g products
Supports spatial multiplexing, cyclic-delay diversity (CDD), low-density parity check (LDPC), maximal ratio combining (MRC), Space Time Block Code (STBC)
Smart antenna diversity
Single-ended RF ports with integrated matching simplify board design and layout
Integrated 1.2 V switching regulator
Data rates of up to 1.3 GBps in 802.11ac 80 MHz channels
