1 . Descriptions:

The quartz sand filter enables the water to be filtered by passing through the filter layer to achieve the purpose of filtration after being pressurized by the pump, making it also known as a pressure filter. According to the way of water inlet, it can be divided into single-flow mechanical filters and double-flow mechanical filters. The former allows water to flow from top to bottom, while the latter has water inlets at both the upper and lower ends, with the outlet located in the middle. Based on the filling condition of filter media, it can be classified into single-layer filter media mechanical filters and double-layer (multi-layer) mechanical filters.

Quartz sand filtration can be used for the pretreatment of ion exchange softening and desalination systems, pre-filtration of reverse osmosis devices, filtration and treatment of domestic and industrial sewage and wastewater, and coarse filtration of industrial water supply and swimming pool water filtration, among others. The specification of the granularity of the media depends on the requirements of the water quality. When used for softening and desalination pre-processing, the quartz sand is typically 0.5–1.0 mm, and anthracite coal is 1.2–1.6 mm. This versatility makes quartz sand filters vital for both wastewater treatment systems and pure water treatment systems.

1. Reasonable structure and large space: the filter locates the water distribution plate in the head, which effectively increases the water purification space without affecting the premise of uniform water distribution.

2. Water distribution without leakage: In order to prevent leakage trouble, the inlet and outlet of the filter are equipped with water distribution boards, and water caps are installed, so that the water distribution is even and the filter material is not leaked.

3. Internal and external anticorrosion without pollution: the filter tank is treated with anticorrosion inside and outside to prevent secondary pollution of water quality.

4. Easy to use and easy to maintain: the filter has a manhole to enter the tank for maintenance, and the filter cap can be replaced in the tank without dismantling the pipeline.
