KRIPAL have further improved the performance and design of their wide range of industrial plugs sockets that comply with IEC309 standard. Special attention has been paid to the use of isolating materials and the treatment of metal components.
The outstanding mechanical characteristics of IEC309 Series plugs and sockets and their ability to withstand weathering and chemicals make them safe and reliable even in the most severe environmental conditions.
A high quality, industrial grade 16 amp 110v IP44 rated splash proof plug connector with weatherproof cable gland. Manufactured from heavy duty durable plastic for site and industrial use, also ideal for running power from generators or on building sites.

Applications:
Protective extra-low voltage is a preventive measure for use under extreme conditions, the rated voltage (AC) is limited by max. 50V.
Special working conditions (conductive environment e.g. in or on boilers, pipelines, containers, metal frames or limited freedom of motion) require the use of extra-low voltage plugs and sockets.
Plastic material:
Our plugs and sockets are produced from POLYAMIDE 6. The main characteristics of this material are:
· excellent impact resistance combined with high rigidity and solidity,
· high thermal stability (self-extinguishing),
· very good insulating qualities,
· high disruptive strength,
· high abrasion resistance,
· high weathering resistance,
· very good chemical resistance to various chemicals,
· free from cadmium and halogen (fluorine, chlorine, bromine, jodine, astatine)
IEC/EN 60309 applies to CEE plugs and sockets which are used at an ambient temperature that does not normally exceed the range from -25°C to +40°C.
KRIPAL CEE plugs and sockets themselves have an operating temperature of -25°C to +80°C (100°C for 1 hour). The temperature of the contacts is allowed to rise by 50°C under the test conditions set out.
