Carbon Weldolet is also called branch pipe seat, saddle and saddle type pipe joint. It is mainly used for reinforcing pipe fittings of branch connection instead of branch connection types such as reducing tee, reinforcing plate and reinforcing pipe section. The main body of the Weldolet is made of high-quality forgings with the same material as the pipe, including carbon steel, alloy steel, stainless steel, etc. Weldolet and main pipe are welded, and there are three types of connection with Olet or other pipes (such as short pipe, plug, etc.), instrument and valve: butt welding connection, socket welding connection and threaded connection.
MSS sp-97, GB / t19326 and other standards are commonly used for manufacturing Weldolet. Butt welding Weldolet is a branch pipe which is widely used in foreign countries in recent years. It provides a branch from large-diameter pipe to small-diameter pipe. The pipe welded on the branch is called the main pipe, and the pipe welded on the branch is called the branch pipe. Branch connections are full size, type, bore, and pressure rating.
The material can be stainless steel, chrome molybdenum alloy or other alloy materials. Working principle of carbon steel butt welding branch pipe: the joint is directly cut into the pipe and sealed by locking the opposite side with screw thread. It does not need to be welded when it is connected with steel pipe, which is conducive to fire prevention, explosion prevention and high-altitude operation. And can eliminate the malpractice brought by welding carelessness.
