Coupling is a kind of common fittings in industrial pipe connection. A short piece of pipe used to connect two pipes. It is also called external joint and direct head. Forging is formed by heating and forging with ingot or round bar and machining thread with upper bed. Casting refers to melting the ingot and pouring it into a fixed hoop model, then cooling it. The main manufacturing standards of hoops are generally GB / t14383 and ASME B16.

Coupling is also called direct head, which is used for straight pipe connection; movable joint is a detachable pipe fitting. The movable joint is set for the convenience of maintenance and installation, so a certain number of movable joints will be used in certain positions such as valves, instrument equipment and other places according to the pipeline conditions.
