The hot forming of the Cross Tee is to flatten the tube blank larger than the diameter of the Cross Tee to the size of the diameter of the Cross Tee, and open a hole at the position of the stretching branch pipe. The metal flows to the direction of the branch pipe and forms the branch pipe under the drawing of the punching die.The internal and external surfaces of the Ductile Iron Cross Tee must be smooth, and no obvious defects such as cracks, cold insulation, wrong box, etc. That hinder the use are allowed. With the consent of the demander, local defects that do not affect the use can be repaired, but the repaired pipe fittings must be retested for water pressure or air tightness.
Ductile iron Cross Tee adopts flexible joint, which is convenient for construction and operation. It can improve construction efficiency, improve construction conditions and reduce construction cost. Most of the joints are connected by rubber ring, which is easy to operate, can shorten construction period and reduce construction cost.
It has the advantages of high water supply pressure, resistance to external loads and adaptability to changes in geological conditions. The pipe has the advantages of high strength, good toughness, corrosion resistance, convenient installation of flexible interface, strong seismic resistance and low labor intensity.It have good sealing performance and are not easy to leak, which can reduce the leakage rate of the pipe network and the daily maintenance cost of the pipe network.
