Description

The alloy tee is mainly used as a connecting pipe fitting in the pipeline installation, which is used for the connection at the turning of the pipeline. The alloy tee made of manganese steel is usually used in concrete pipeline, mud pipeline and other pipelines with serious wear consumption because of its excellent performance of bearing impact, extrusion and material wear.  However, the high manganese steel alloy tee is used in the pipeline with intense fluid flow and strong impact. 

Specification

1.  The nickel steel alloy tee is usually used in the pipeline with high concentration of oxidized acid at room temperature.

2. Hardness is the ability of alloy tee surface to resist local deformation, indentation and scratch. It is a measure of the hardness and softness of metals.  The hardness directly affects the wear resistance and service life of the alloy tee.

3.Hardness is not a one-to-one physical quantity like strength and plasticity. it is a comprehensive reflection of strength, plasticity and work hardening tendency of alloy tee.  In other words, the hardness reflects the strength and plasticity of the alloy tee material to a certain extent.

4. Brinell hardness and Rockwell hardness are commonly used in engineering.

5. The test method of Brinell hardness is to press the hard alloy steel ball with diameter D into the surface of the tested material with a certain load F,and then remove the load after staying for a certain time.

Characterisitc

1.  Since both D and F are fixed values, after removing the load, measure the indentation diameter d with a special magnifying glass. 

2.  And find out the corresponding HB value from the special table according to the value of D, which is represented by HBW.

3. The high-pressure alloy tee is made by professional forging or welding technology, turning with high-precision CNC lathe, finishing with ordinary lathe, argon arc welding and other processing.

Classification of alloy tee

Classification by pipe diameter

1. Tee with the same diameter: tee with the same diameter of main pipe and branch pipe.

2. Reducing tee: tee with branch pipe diameter smaller than main pipe diameter.

Classification according to docking form

1. Butt welded tee: refers to the tee pipe fittings welded after butt joint with the connecting pipe fittings.

2. Socket tee: it is a tee pipe that is welded or welded after the connecting pipe is inserted into each end of the tee.

3. Ferrule tee: it is a tee fitting with ferrule connector at each end, which is inserted and then tightened.

4. Threaded tee: a tee fitting that is threaded to a fitting.
