Located under the display at the top of the module, the SMARTCARD greatly expands the available configurations accessible on your drive. It can be used to copy parameters between different drives, save entire parameter sets, including ‘differences from the default,’ store Onboard PLC programs, automatically save for maintenance needs, and load parameters for full motor maps. Rest easy knowing you have the SMARTCARD to back-up and your parameter sets, as well as, transfer data between drives!
The SP1402 AC drive comes readily compatible with a long list of accessories including SM-Encoder Plus, SM-INTERBUS, SM-Applications, SM-I/O Plus, SM-Keypad Plus, and more! Adaptability with so many useful accessories greatly increases the flexibility and application options for this drive, expanding your industrial reach.
This drive is equipped with motor overload protection, motor thermal protection, and overspeed protection, which can also be supplemented with a separate high integrity device. Additionally, brake control functions within the AC drive enable an integrated operation of the external brake. Though not intended to be used as sole safety functions, the hardware and software of this drive are crafted to a high standard.
