DZL series coal biomass fired boiler is single drum water tube and fire tube boiler, combustion equipment is chain grate. Water wall tubes at left and right sides of furnace are the radiated heating area. the two wings at furnace and screw fire tube in the drum are convection heating area. This boiler uses the upper drum, water wall tube and head are in symmetrical arrangement mode. This furnace structure in reasonable arrangement and high efficiency. This series boiler adopts several environmental protect measures (bag dust collector, double towers desulfurization, etc.) to meet the national emission requirement.

Coal Fired Boiler Burning process

Fuel falls from coal hopper onto the front of chain grate, moves along with the chain grate and will be preheated, dried, ignited, burned out. Slag will be discharged by slag remover(eliminator) at any time. Herring bone arch is adopted to improve igniting condition. Smoke forms between front and back arches vortex, completely mix with air, burns out and then goes after each other through smoke flue at two wings, front smoke box, threaded smoke tubes, cast iron economizer(for hot water boiler no cast iron economizer), dust remover, draft fan and will be emitted through chimney.

1. Excellent chain grate

1) The small scale chain grate boiler could resist the temperature as high as 1200℃, long working life.

2) The chain grate has a low coal leakage because of the small gap.

3) High automatic degree, decrease labor cost.

4) Convenient for maintenance, it could be done without boiler shut down.

5) Based on customers’ requirement and fuel characteristics, the grate could be designed as small scale grate, chain belt grate, bar grate, etc.

2. High thermal efficiency

1)The spirally corrugated tube strengthen the heat transfer, improve thermal efficiency. The flue gas has the foundation of disturbance, avoid ash depositing in tube.

2)The furnace wall was poured entirely by the heat-resistance concrete and high-temperature-resistance refractory brick, and the boiler shell use aluminium silicate board for heat preservation, low heat loss.

3) Equipped with economizer, make full use of the heat of flue gas, decrease the exhaust smoke temperature, increase thermal efficiency.

3. Avoid bulging

The riser tube bundle under the drum, remove the dead water region at the bottom of drum, sludge is not easy for depositing, the high temperature area of drum has better cooling, prevent bulging.

4. Avoid tube plate cracking

1) The steam boiler adopts arched tube plate and spirally corrugated tube, change the quasi-steel body into quasi-elastic body structure, reduce stress, solves the problems of tube plate cracking.

2) Arrange two sides gas duct in drum, the smoke gas could enter into the front smoke chamber smoothly, the temperature of tube plate is lower than 600℃, avoid cracking leaded by high temperature.

2.What is the combustion mode of coal/biomass fired boiler?

The combustion mode of coal/biomass fired boiler is layer combustion. Place the flue on the fixed or moved grate, to form an evenly fuel bed with a certain thickness, air comes from the bottom of grate, and combustion occurred on the fuel bed.

The heat resistance temperature of grate is related to the grate material, the highest temperature could be as high as 1100℃, and the lower temperature could be 700℃.

6.What is the temperature of smoke gas?

The highest temperature of smoke gas is 165℃.

7.How long can the coal/biomass fired boiler works?

Coal/biomass boilers could work for 10~15 years, under correct operation, high water and coal quality, etc.

8.How to avoid collapse of bricks, and what should be done if it happened?

When boiler installation finished, drying the boiler according to the manual, it’s very important to avoid collapse of bricks.

9.How many stokers do I need for one boiler?

Usually 3 person, every 8 hours a shift.
