As the core of the filter, it is the filter element which performs the actual filtration and/or dewatering function in the housing. They consist of several pleated filtration and support layers which are placed as a cylinder around or inside the stabilising support tube. These mesh packs are sealed by the end-caps. Regardless of the type of filter, flow direction through the filter elements is from out to in. Depending on the filter material, the filter mesh pack is encased in an additional outer plastic sleeve.

1) Standard Efficiency Filters are largely for older machines, where tolerances were more forgiving. Designed to maintain system cleanliness in most general and light duty applications.
2) Advanced Efficiency Filters have increased contamination control without giving up dirt-holding capacity for stricter component and emission requirements in newer machines. It’s an upgrade from standard filters to provide an increased level of protection against accelerated wear with a special filter media to provide greater protection in moderate to severe conditions.
3) Ultra High Efficiency Filters provide optimum contamination control in all applications while still maintaining capacity. The filter’s super-fine synthetic media removes a higher proportion of fine particles for optimum contamination control in moderate and severe applications. Ultra High Efficiency Filters are recommended as a clean-out filter after any service work.
