The appliance coupler of cordless blenders shall be constructed to withstand the stresses occurring during normal use.
Compliance is checked by the following test.
The two live pins of the blender are connected together and an external resistive load is connected in series with the supply. The external load is such that the current is 1,1 times rated current.
The blender is placed on its stand and withdrawn 10 000 times at a rate of approximately 10 times per minute. The test is continued for a further 10 000 times without current flowing.
If the connection contacts cannot be energized when making or breaking the connection, instead of the above sequence, the test is carried out 20 000 times without current.
After the test, the blender shall be suitable for further use and compliance with 8.1, 16.3, 27.5 and Clause 29 shall not be impaired.

 

Standard of Cordless Kettle Tester: IEC 60335-2-14 Clause 22.103, IEC60335-2-3 Clause 22.105, IEC60335 -2- 15 clause 22.103 and etc.

Application of Cordless Kettle Tester: Cordless electric kettles, cordless irons, cordless blenders, the contacts shall be constructed so that any electrical or mechanical failure that occurs during normal use shall not be dangerous and shall be verified by a plug-in test.

Feature of Cordless Kettle Tester: Make the two contacts of cordless electric kettles, cordless irons, cordless blenders to be Short-circuit, and supply 1.1 times of rated voltage to cordless electric kettle/ iron/ blender, then process the endurance test that the test sample’s body insert into and plug from the base at the speed of 10 times/min. And then process a certain times of insert & plug endurance test without load voltage. The test device can be connected to external load or has built-in load (optional), the test cycles can be preset (maximum 999999),the test system can record the test cycles and conduction cycles automatically during test, when the preset test cycles have been completed, the test device will stop testing automatically.
