2. PA160B Test Probe / UL Test Probe Is for household and similar electrical appliances necessary protection against electric shock test apparatus.

Application:
According to different standard, the method of use is slightly difference. This probe conforms to standard requirement of UL507 Fig 132.1(PA160B) and UL1278 Fig 9.1(PA160). It is used for testing accessibility to hazardous moving parts such as access to fan blades through a fan finger guard. The handle is made of nylon while the finger is made of stainless steel. The end of the handle is with threaded hole which can be equipped with the dynamometer.UL Test Probe can not touch the hazardous parts. In most case, it needs to exert certain 4.4 N (1 lb)
 
 
Note: UL test Probe are used for precision machinery products, please take and put down gently, and safe keeping.
 
 
A moving part (blower wheel) of a floor insert fan that results in a risk of injury to persons shall be guarded so that the probe illustrated in Figure 132.1 does not touch the part when inserted with a force of 4.45 N (1 pound) through any opening in the guard.
