iclean's CY-93050 Specimen Collection Flocked Swab is mainly used for the examination of microbial samples collected from the throat. Flocked swabs have excellent sample collection and release capabilities can quickly absorb trace samples, and have high release efficiency. The flocked swabs are made of vertical nylon fibers to optimize sample collection and elution into the transmission medium. iclean's flocked swabs also feature molded breakpoints that allow you to break off the swab stick safely and easily, and there are multiple breakpoint options available for different tubes.

Application: Oropharyngeal Sampling
Specimen Collection Flocked Swab is mainly used for the examination of microbial samples collected from the throat. With excellent sample collection and release capabilities, it can quickly adsorb trace samples with high release efficiency

Specimen Collection Flocked Swab sampling method:

①. Ask the patient to sit first, then ask the patient to tilt their head back, open their mouth, and make an "ah~~" sound.

②. The sampler uses a tongue depressor to fix the patient's tongue and uses polyester or calcium alginate to pass through the tongue to reach the posterior wall of the throat and the recesses and lateral walls of the tonsils.

③. Repeated wiping 3 to 5 times to collect mucosal cells.

④. Slowly take the swab out of the mouth, put it vertically into the sampling tube, break the tail of the throat swab, and tighten the sampling tube to avoid leakage

⑤. Send to the laboratory as soon as possible.

2This product is a one-time use product, please do not use it multiple times.

4 If an allergic reaction occurs after use, please stop using it immediately.
 
5 Please refrain from eating, smoking, or drinking 30 minutes before sampling, so as not to affect the sampling operation.
