Process Principle
Decarburization separates carbon dioxide from other gaseous parts by using the properties of the adsorbents, which are selected to adsorb carbon dioxide in the gas blend under pressurized conditions.
In the meantime, the adsorbents release the adsorbed CO2 under decreased pressure to refresh the adsorbents. According to the customers' diverse requirements for the carbon dioxide content of the product, a one-stage or two-stage operation is adopted to ensure the production of the active ingredient and the stability index.
Process Description
The CO2-rich feed gas is pretreated and then enters the pressure swing adsorption system from the bottom of the adsorption tower. Purging gases (H2, N2, CO) are obtained from the top of the column. We obtain the desorbed gas (mainly CO2) from the bottom of the column in order to recover CO2 or release it into the atmosphere.
