Product features:
The blade of Kaplan fixed-blade turbine is fixed on the runner body, and the blade placement Angle cannot be changed in operation. The efficiency curve is steep, which is suitable for the power station where the load changes little or the number of units can be adjusted to adapt to the load changes. Advantages: simple structure, low cost. Disadvantages: the efficiency will drop sharply when deviating from the design condition. According to its characteristics, it is generally used for hydropower stations with small output, low head and small head change range.
The axial propeller turbine was invented by the Austrian engineer caplan in 1920, so it is also known as the caplan turbine. Its runner blade is generally installed in the runner body of the oil pressure relay operation, according to the head and load changes for the corresponding rotation, in order to maintain the optimal coordination between the rotation Angle of the guide blade and blade Angle, thereby improving the average efficiency, the highest efficiency of some of this kind of turbine has more than 94%. However, this kind of turbine needs a mechanism to operate the blade rotation, so the structure is more complex and the cost is higher, and it is generally used for large and medium-sized hydropower stations with large changes in head and output.
Kplan turbine runner consists of three parts: runner blade, runner hub and drain cone.
1. Suitable for the development of low water head (2-30m) larger flow of water resources;
