The working principle of gear pumps is as follows:
Gear pumps work by rotating two meshing gears in the pump cylinder. When the gears rotate, the space between the teeth gradually increases, forming a vacuum, thereby sucking in liquid; when the gears mesh, the space between the teeth decreases, squeezing out the liquid and discharging it into the pipeline. Specifically, when the gears rotate, the liquid fills the tooth pits, and as the gears move along the shell wall to the high-pressure space, the liquid in the tooth pits is squeezed out and discharged into the outlet pipeline due to the meshing of the two gears. In this process, the increase in the enclosed space forms a negative pressure area, and the external liquid enters the suction port of the pump under atmospheric pressure.

Pressure regulation: The gear pump mainly adjusts the flow rate through the inlet valve. When starting and stopping, ensure that the outlet valve is fully open to prevent operational accidents.
