The main features of SUN cartridge valves include:
Free floating design: The tail end of the SUN cartridge valve is designed to float freely, which allows its working components to float in the valve body, reducing the sensitivity of the installation torque and avoiding the possibility of internal moving components getting stuck. This design makes it unnecessary to change the valve settings or remove existing piping when cleaning or inspecting the cartridge valve.
High operating pressure and flow adaptability: The SUN cartridge valve adopts a floating structure and channel design, which can work normally at higher operating pressures and larger flows. Its larger flow area and valve block structure design make the valve block of SUN products 50% smaller than that of other brands.
High precision and reliability: SUN cartridge valves have high-precision pressure regulation functions, small pressure fluctuations with flow changes, smooth regulation, low noise, and fast response speed. In addition, its design reduces leak points and pollution sources, improving system reliability.
Precautions for the use of SUN cartridge valves include:
Preparation before installation: When installing the cartridge components, be careful not to miss the spring, seal ring, and retaining ring. When installing the control cover, align the position of the oil port or the positioning pin, and use high-strength screws (such as 10.9 or 12.9) to fix it.
Spring installation: If the spring of the cartridge assembly is particularly hard, the cover should be installed with a long screw first, and then replaced with a short screw after it is pressed to the appropriate position.
Selection of sealing ring: SUN cartridge valves have a variety of materials and surface treatments to meet the needs of different environmental conditions. For example, cartridge valves with EPDM sealing rings are suitable for phosphate ester working media, but not for petroleum-based hydraulic oil or lubricating grease environments.
