The Bosch Rexroth DB10-2-5X/50Y (R900597342) is a sophisticated pilot-operated pressure relief valve designed for controlling operating pressure within hydraulic systems. This valve is integral in limiting the pressure by employing a main valve with a spool insert and a pilot control valve that includes a pressure adjustment element. The operation of the DB10-2-5X/50Y is based on the hydraulic pressure applied to channel P, which influences both the main spool and the ball in the pilot control valve through strategically placed nozzles and control lines. When the set pressure value is surpassed, the ball counteracts its spring, allowing hydraulic fluid to flow from channel P to T, thereby maintaining the desired operating pressure.
Additionally, this model offers versatility through its unloading feature or by switching to an alternative second pressure rating via port X. The DB10-2-5X/50Y is designed for subplate mounting and complies with various ISO standard porting patterns (NG6, NG10, NG16). It can also be utilized as a screw-in cartridge valve for threaded connections. Users can choose from multiple adjustment types for setting the pressure, including options like a rotary knob or sleeve with hexagon and protective cap; some models feature a lockable rotary knob with scale or simply a rotary knob with scale for precise adjustments. This model comes in different sizes and component series with maximum operating pressures reaching up to 350 bar and maximum flow rates of up to 400 l/min. The DB10-2-5X/50Y features corrosion protection design that enhances its durability and longevity in various operational environments.
