Hydraulic Cylinder Description

Product Type

1. Piston type

A single piston rod hydraulic cylinder has a piston rod at only one end. As shown in the figure is a single piston hydraulic cylinder. The inlet and outlet oil ports A and B at both ends can pass pressure oil or return oil to achieve two-way movement, so it is called double acting cylinder. 

2. Plunger type features:

(1) It is a single acting hydraulic cylinder, hydraulic pressure can only achieve one direction of movement, the plunger return depends on other external forces or the weight of the plunger;

(2) The plunger is only supported by the cylinder liner and is not in contact with the cylinder liner, so the cylinder liner is easy to process, so it is suitable for long stroke hydraulic cylinder;

(3) the total pressure of the plunger during work, so it must have sufficient stiffness;

(4) The weight of the plunger is often large, and it is easy to sag due to its own weight when placed horizontally, resulting in wear of the seals and guide side, so its vertical use is more favorable.

3. The telescopic hydraulic cylinder has two or multiple pistons, as shown in the figure. The piston extension in the telescopic hydraulic cylinder is sequential from large to small, and the order of no-load retraction is generally from small to large. The telescopic cylinder can achieve a longer stroke, and the length is shorter when retracted, and the structure is more compact. This type of hydraulic cylinder is often used in construction machinery and agricultural machinery.

4. Oscillating hydraulic cylinder is an actuator that outputs torque and realizes reciprocating motion, also known as oscillating hydraulic motor. There are two forms of single blade and double blade. The stator block is fixed to the cylinder block, while the blades and rotor are connected together.
