Overflow valve description
Relief valve, also known as return valve, is a hydraulic pressure control valve.Relief valves are divided into two categories: spring type and rod type. In addition, there are impulse type safety valve, pilot type safety valve, safety switch valve, safety decompression valve, deadweight safety valve and so on. The relief valve is the overflow through the valve port to adjust the working pressure of the system or limit its maximum working pressure to prevent the system from overloading. In the assembly or use of the relief valve, due to the damage of the O-ring seal, the combination seal ring, or the loosening of the installation screw and pipe joint, it may cause undue external leakage.
Classification and parameters
Safety relief valve has spring type and rod type two categories. In addition, there are impulse type safety valve, pilot type safety valve, safety switch valve, safety decompression valve, deadweight safety valve and so on. Spring type safety valve mainly relies on the force of the spring and work, spring type safety valve and closed and not closed, generally flammable, explosive or toxic media should be selected closed, steam or inert gas can be selected not closed, in the spring type safety valve with a wrench and without a wrench. The function of the wrench is mainly to check the flexibility of the valve disc, and sometimes it can be used as a manual emergency pressure relief. The lever safety valve mainly relies on the force of the lever weight to work, but the large volume of the lever safety valve often limits the selection range. Use a safety valve with radiator when the temperature is high.
The main parameter of the safety relief valve is the displacement, which is determined by the diameter of the valve seat and the opening height of the valve disc, which is divided into two kinds of micro-opening and full-opening. Micro-opening means that the opening height of the valve disc is 1/40 to 1/20 of the throat diameter of the valve seat. Full opening means that the opening height of the disc is 1/4 of the throat diameter of the seat
