Introduction

Brine ice-making is a widely used and long-standing ice-making method. The ice produced is firm, not easy to melt, and is convenient for transportation, storage and handling. It is widely used in domestic fishery, food industry, transportation industry, medical institutions and other industries.

Brine ice making is an indirect cooling system. For small brine ice making equipment, a shell and tube evaporator is used as the heat exchange equipment for cooling brine in the refrigeration system, and a water pump is used to circulate the brine in the ice making tank and the shell and tube evaporator. After the brine is cooled by the evaporator, it enters the ice-making brine tank under the action of the water pump to cool the ice mould. The brine after the temperature rises flows into the evaporator from the other side for cooling, and the refrigerant absorbs the heat of the brine in the evaporator. Cool the brine and keep it at about -10°C.

When the water in the ice mould is frozen, take the ice mould out of the ice making tank, put it into the ice melting tank to melt the ice, then remove the ice, and send it to the cold storage for storage or direct storage. After being transported away, the empty ice mould after de-icing is filled with water and then put into the ice-making tank to continue production, and so on.

Ice Tank Structure Description:

• The ice-making tank is used to hold brine solution, ice moulds, etc., and is welded by 6mm thick steel plates. The two ends of the ice-making tank are welded with liquid distribution pipes, and the holes are evenly distributed on the pipes to facilitate the uniform circulation of salt water. The ice-making tank is made of a shelf welded with angle steel, which is used to place the ice mould rack, in order to reduce the transmission of external heat.
• The entrance and floor are frozen, and 150mm polyurethane insulation layer is used at the bottom and surrounding of the tank. A 50-60mm cover plate is laid on the surface of the ice making tank to minimize the heat transfer on the surface of the ice making tank. The tank wall, evaporator, etc. are coated with anti-rust paint to reduce the corrosion of salt water to metal materials.
