1. Pulp molding mold
The wet paper base will be deformed after drying, and some parts are severely deformed, or when the surface shape of the product requires high precision, the product must go through a shaping process, and the mold used is called a shaping mold. This type of mold also requires a heating element, but it can be used without a mesh mold. Products that require shaping should retain 25-30% moisture content during drying to facilitate shaping.
In production practice, since the moisture content is difficult to control, it is difficult for products to meet quality requirements. Some manufacturers have designed a spray shaping mold to create spray holes in the mold corresponding to the parts that need shaping. During work, the product is placed in the shaping mold after being thoroughly dried. When the mold is closed, the spray hole on the mold sprays and heat-presses the product. This mold is somewhat similar to the spray iron in the garment industry.
2. Transfer mold
The transfer mold is the last station in the entire process. Its main function is to safely transfer the product from the shaping auxiliary mold to the receiving tray. For the transfer mold, its structural design needs to be as simple as possible, and the suction holes must be evenly arranged. Just make sure the product can be adsorbed flatly on the mold fitting surface.
