Product description
The disc separator is a vertical centrifuge. The rotating bowl is mounted on the upper end of the vertical shaft and is driven by a motor through a transmission device to rotate at a high speed. Inside the bowl there is a group of disc-shaped parts that are nested together-discs. There is a small gap between the disc and the disc. The suspension (or emulsion) is fed into the bowl from a feed tube located in the center of the bowl. When the suspension (or emulsion) flows through the gap between the discs, the principle of operation The principle of operation The solid particles (or droplets) settle on the discs under the action of the centrifuge to form a sediment (or liquid layer). The sludge slides along the surface of the disc to separate from the disc and accumulate in the largest diameter part of the bowl. The separated liquid is discharged from the liquid outlet to the bowl. The function of the disc is to shorten the settlement distance of solid particles (or droplets) and expand the settlement area of the bowl. The installation of the disc in the bowl greatly increases the production capacity of the separator. The solids accumulated in the rotating bowl can be removed manually after the separator is shut down by disassembling the rotating bowl, or discharged from the rotating bowl through the slag discharge mechanism without stopping the machine. The disc separator can complete two operations: liquid-solid separation (ie the separation of the bottom concentration suspension), called clarification operation; liquid-liquid separation (or liquid-liquid-solid) separation (ie, emulsion separation), said separation operation.
The disc separator is one of the sedimentation centrifuges, used to separate difficult-to-separate materials (such as suspensions composed of viscous liquids and fine solid particles, or emulsions composed of liquids with similar density, etc.). The disc separator is the most widely used settling centrifuge.

6. Chemical industry: purification or clarification of chemical raw materials;

Other industries: such as laboratory, petroleum, coking, kaolin, pulp recycling, electrolyte treatment, wastewater treatment, environmental protection, etc., as well as the extraction of animal and plant proteins, the extraction and refining of animal fats, and the separation of mixed fatty acids.
