Clay brick is the refractory brick with 30%- 48% alumina content. Clay brick is weak acid product. Because of its rich resources, simple production process, low cost, it is widely used.
Usage of fire clay refractory bricks:
Because of simple production and cheap price, clay bricks are widely used in blast furnaces, hot blast stoves, soaking furnace, annealing furnace, boiler, cast steel system and other thermal equipment, is one of refractory bricks with large consumption.
Ordinary clay brick refers to the variety of 36% -42% of Al2O3 content, with high yield and wide use. Ordinary clay brick are made of soft clay with good plasticity and large dispersion and a part of clay clinker. It generally is divided into clay - clinker brick and kaolin - clinker brick. According to the level of refractoriness, the clay brick is divided into four grades: Grade Superior; higher than 1750 ℃; GradeⅠ:1730-1750 ℃; GradeⅡ: 1670-1730 ℃; Grade Ⅲ: 1580-1670 ℃.
