The main production process of the Big Fireclay Bottom Block used for the production of float glass bottom by vibrating casting method is as follows: clay clay clinker, mullite fine powder, oxide ultrafine powder and hardener are used to form self-hardening mud. The material is formulated into a mud material which has both thixotropic properties (formed by vibrating castables) and self-hardening, and can be demolded after standing for a certain period of time after molding. In order to meet the molding process requirements, a small amount of debonding agent and a small amount of delayed coagulant are appropriately added to the composition of the ingredients. Adding a debonding agent can not only reduce the amount of water from 10% to 13% by 5.5% to 6.5%, but also obtain a uniform structure; adding a delayed coagulant can simultaneously solidify the inside and outside of the billet, thereby shortening the demolding time.

Moreover, since the block has a low gas permeability, the hydrogen diffusion degree is also low, thereby avoiding glass defects caused by bubbles at the bottom of the tin bath, thereby improving the yield of the glass.
