Product Description
1. What is Candy Powder Coating?
Transparent powder coat finishes, often referred to as "candies" are translucent finishes that offer unparalleled color depth. Typically, Transparent powders are applied over a bright silver substrate (polished, chrome plating etc.) for reflectivity which is necessary for color depth. If the part being coated is not suitably reflective, then a chrome-like or metallic silver base coat can be applied prior to the Transparent top coat. Transparent powders are not quite as easy to spray as their Solid Tone counterparts.
