Introduction:
Grade 1.7225/SAE4140 steel belongs to the ultra-high strength steel, high strength and toughness, hardenability is better also, no obvious temper brittleness, conditioning treatment after repeated impact resistance, high fatigue limit and good low-temperature impact toughness.
Grade 1.7225/SAE4140 steel is suitable for large and medium sized plastic mold that requires certain strength and toughness.

Applications:
The steel has high strength, hardenability, good toughness, low deformation in quenching, high creep strength and endurance.
It can be used in the manufacture requirements higher than 35 crmo steel strength and conditioning section more large forgings, such as locomotive traction with the big gear, supercharger drive gear, pressure vessel, rear axle, gear load connecting rod and a spring clip, can also be used to under 2000 m deep well of oil drill pipe joint and the fishing tool, and can be used for bending machine mould, etc.
