Product Introduction

2738 is a hardened and tempered, not corrosion resistant plastic mould steel. Because of the Ni-addition, there is no hardness decrease in the center of large sizes (up to 600 mm). A special melting technology offers good machinability.
2738 is in the class of Plastic mold that was develoed from 2311 by adding Nickel 1.0 Selling condition is quench and tempered So, free from size changing after hardening Hardness range is 280-325 HB (29-34 HRC) Suitable for big size plastic mold which thickness over 400 mm High strength with hardening ability .Made of steel that pass degassing process in vacuum result in polishing ability .Can do texturing or EDM .Also, can do surface hardening by various procedure.

718H steel is pre-hard mirror anti-acid plastic mould steel. The steel pre-hardened, uniform material, high cleanliness, excellent polishing performance and lithography. Also has high hardenability, good electrical processing performance and striae processing performance. Pre-hardened steel without quenching can also be used for the mold bore, flange flame hardening can be implemented, the hardness can be increased to 52HRC.

P20+Ni is specially used for Plastic injection die moulds. The characteristics of a material are right sharpening, photo-etching properties with high purity and good homogeneity. P20+Ni is upgraded version of plastic mold steel 0f 2311, which normally supply in Pre hardened condition. Hardness in as supplied condition 280-320 HB with having uniform hardness. The additional nickel content of 1 % increases through hardening. It has good machinability, suitable for Texturing, fine polishability, adequate corrosion resistance, vacuum-degassed steel.
