Hot Rolled Steel Round Bar of D2 1.2379 SKD11 Cold Work Mould Steel
D2 is a kind of high-carbon and high-chromium alloy tool steel, after heat treatment has a high hardness of grinding, and has strong hardenability, good dimensional stability characteristics, suitable for making high-precision long-life cold mold and thermoforming plastic mold.
Other application suitable for this tool steel include deep drawing dies, cupping dies, forming die sheet metal forming rolls, shear blades for strip and sheet including flying shears, circular cutters for cold rolled strip, trimmer dies, thread rolling dies, cold extrusion dies, broaches, plug gauges, ring gauges, master hobs for cold hobbing plastic moulds, cut moulds for plastics, special taps, straybolt taps, brick and tile mould liners.
1. Grade: D2/1.2379/SKD11/Cr12Mo1V1
2. Mechnical propoties:
Vacuum degassing to refine the steel's purity.
Softening treatment of the ball annealing, good cutting performance.
Strong element vanadium&molybdenum special addition, excellent wear resistance.
3. Application example:
1) Suitable for making all kinds of high speed punching and cutting of silicon steel sheet.
2) Suitable for precision stamping die, cold extrusion forming die, drawing die, punching die.
3) Suitable for shear thin material of high efficiency scissors, deep drawing die and die drawing etc...
4) Suitable for the complex and easy deforme tool die, high wear resistance long service life of all kinds cold stamping die.
5) Used for excellent abrasion resistance and toughness cold hot work mould, can be used for embossing dies, cold forging die.
6) Used for heavy load stamping die, cold cutting edge, rolling wire board, etc...
7) Used for cold heading dies, Tao Tumo etc...
8) Used for plastic molding.
