Towel
Yarn count or count refers to the thickness of the yarn, usually expressed by the English letter S. The higher the number, the finer the cotton yarn, the softer the towel and the better the hand feel. For example, 21 sticks (that is, 21s) are much thicker than 32 sticks, and there is a gap in feel. However, the higher the count, the higher the quality requirements for the yarn raw material (cotton), and therefore the higher the cost.
The three yarns commonly used in hotel towels are sorted from low to high according to price: 21s / 2, 32s / 2, and 16s spirals.
In 21s / 2 and 32s / 2, "21s" and "32s" represent single yarns, and "2" means double strands, that is, two 21s or 32s single yarns are twisted together and become Strands. Towels woven from strands are thicker and more durable than towels woven from single yarns.
The 16s spiral, if it is said before, its count is low, and it is a single yarn, the price should be the cheapest, but we have ranked it at the highest price. The key lies in the word "spiral". This kind of yarn is different from the ordinary yarn technology and is a spiral yarn obtained by using the principle of overfeed. The towel woven from this yarn feels fluffy and softer. Due to the cost of the process, the price is the highest, but the value for money is recommended for mid- to high-end hotels.
