Polyester has excellent wrinkle resistance, elasticity and dimensional stability, good electrical insulation properties, sunlight resistance, friction resistance, mildew resistance, good chemical resistance, and resistance to weak acids and bases. At room temperature, it has a certain ability to resist dilute and strong acids, and has poor resistance to strong alkalis. Polyester has poor dyeing properties. Generally, it must be dyed with disperse dyes under high temperature or in the presence of a carrier.
