Description:

Galvanized Steel Walkway Grating s the product in accordance with customers requirements that is lined by load flat steel and horizontal rod alternately in a certain space, welded into primary plate in the high voltage resistance welding machine, then through the deep-processing of such working procedures as cutting, slitting, tapping, bordure, etc.

Standard welded steel bar grating is resistance welded to create a rugged, one-piece constructed panel, the bearing bars are automatically resistance welded at the contact point with the cross bars and, under a combination of high heat and pressure, are fused together to form a permanent joint, the cross bars provide a high degree of rigidity, yet retain a smooth flat surface for free and easy walking.

Steel Grating Specification:

Load Bar Size: 20x3mm-75x8mm generally.

Load bar's c/c distance: 30mm, 40mm, 60mm and 12.5mm or 33.5mm and their multiples generally.

Cross bar's c/c distance: 50mm, 100mm, 38mm, 76mm generally.

Cross bar's size: 6mmx6mm twisted rod generally;

small size grating using 5mmx5mm twisted rod;

For stainless using diam 5mm round bar.

Load bar's top surface: Flat type-F, Serrated type-S, I type

Series 1: 30mm centre distance

Load bar's centre distance 30mm, cross bar's centre distance 100mm; Load bar's centre distance 30mm, cross bar's centre distance 50mm.
Suitable for heavy loading
Available in mild steel (forge welded or twistlock) and aluminium (twistlock)

Series 2: 40mm centre distance

Load bar's centre distance 40mm, cross bar's centre distance 100mm; Load bar's centre distance 40mm, cross bar's centre distance 50mm.
Series 2 grating is available in both forge bar and twistlock. The lightweight, economical design of the Series 2 grating makes it perfect for walkways, fixed platforms, stairways and ladders. Available in twistlock (mild steel and aluminium material)

Series 3: 60mm centre distance

Load bar's centre distance 60mm, cross bar's centre distance 100mm; Load bar's centre distance 60mm, cross bar's centre distance 50mm.
Series 3 grating is mainly used in the mining industry as it minimises the build-up of spillages on the flooring. The openings let small matter fall through while larger matter is caught on the grating. Series 3 is a very lightweight design and is not recommended for high-impact load.
