Stainless Steel Aluminum Honeycomb Wall Panel for Indoor Decoration with a Total Thickness 25 mm is an honeycomb structure sandwich panel with two stainless steel surface plates and one aluminum or stainless steel honeycomb core for the wall panel use. The total thickness is 25 mm which is widely used thickness specification of the wall panel.

1. The thickness of the stainless steel aluminum honeycomb composite panel can be from 5 mm to 300 mm.

2. The commonly used thickness is 25 mm with the surface plate stainless steel 304 series about 2 mm thickness, the bottom thickness 1 mm thick and the rest 22 mm thickness for the aluminum honeycomb core. However, as a non-standard product, the thickness of surface plates and core can be customized based on the clients unique requirements.

3. The size of the stainless steel honeycomb panel can be any size but the regular size will be as 1500 mm times 6000 mm with thickness up to 300 mm because of the limit of vacuum press production line.

4. The clients would require 1220 times 2400 mm2 as standard size. For the wall panel, the size would be like 600 * 600 mm2, 900 * 900 mm2, 1200 * 1200 mm2 etc. The stainless steel honeycomb panel can be used as the wall panels for the indoor decoration of living house or office. It is anti-corrosion and easy cleaned.

General Description

Stainless Steel Honeycomb Panel is comprised with two stainless steel plates and one aluminum or stainless steel honeycomb core layer. The upper surface can be colorful oxidation film coated or diamond anti-skidding pattern stainless steel plates. The colorful oxidation film performs well on corrosion resistance and cannot be peered off by mechanical friction.

In metallurgy, stainless steel, also known as inox steel or inox from French "inoxydable", is a steel alloy with a minimum of 10.5% chromium content by mass.

Stainless steel does not readily corrode, rust or stain with water as ordinary steel does. However, it is not fully stain-proof in low-oxygen, high-salinity, or poor air-circulation environments. There are different grades and surface finishes of stainless steel to suit the environment the alloy must endure. Stainless steel is used where both the properties of steel and corrosion resistance are required.

Stainless steel differs from carbon steel by the amount of chromium present. Unprotected carbon steel rusts readily when exposed to air and moisture. This iron oxide film (the rust) is active and accelerates corrosion by forming more iron oxide; and, because of the greater volume of the iron oxide, this tends to flake and fall away. Stainless steels contain sufficient chromium to form a passive film of chromium oxide, which prevents further surface corrosion by blocking oxygen diffusion to the steel surface and blocks corrosion from spreading into the metal's internal structure, and, due to the similar size of the steel and oxide ions, they bond very strongly and remain attached to the surface.
