Product Description
High Strength Basalt Stone Honeycomb Core Panel is a honeycomb backed panel with a basalt stone slice origined from Fuding area, Fujian province, China, which is known as the darkest basalt stone.
The ultra-thin stone honeycomb composite panels are innovated because of the limited natural stone resources and its application restrict. It is a new type of building materials with a better impact resistance than the ordinary natural stone is with a weight of only 16 kg, is only 1/6 of the weight of its original natural stone slide but the compressive strength is 6 times more than the original stone slices. Pasia stone Honeycomb Panel is grossly with an area weight of about 16 kg/ m2, which is approximately 1/5 of the solid stone. Thus, the labor, time, installation supporting facilities can be greatly saved especially considering the increased labor cost. By adding the honeycomb panel backing with high rigidity, Pasia Stone Honeycomb Panels shows excellent impact resistance and flexural strength and other mechanical performance. According to the testing result, the shock resistance performance value can be up to 60 times more than their solid stone veneer with 3 cm thickness.
