The HLN Aquano 5K coolant heaters will not only preheat the engines to avoid cold start, but can also operate continuously during normal engine operations, to provide an optimal engine operating temperature. During extreme cold weathers, such as those below -20°C, the engine would need extra heat supply even during its operations. The HLN Aquano 5K coolant heaters can do just that. The HLN coolant heaters have an optimized control program that can automatically change the heaters’ output according to engine coolant temperature, to keep the engine running at a desired environment. At the same time, the fuel consumption by the heater is also optimized to reduce the cost.

HLN focuses on continuously improving the heater quality and pushing it to the limit. The company finished a heater high attitude test above 5,000 meters on the Tibetan Plateau. Both air heaters and coolant heaters went through the tests. A total of five testes points were taken, and at a highest elevation of 5,235 meters. (The five test points were at 2,780m, 3,660m, 4,540m, 4,780m, and 5,235m.) At all test points, both the air heaters and coolant heaters can ignite and operate smoothly. The high elevation test is only one of a serious of tests that HLN performs on its heaters to guarantee the heaters performance.

    Machine principle:

The main motor of the heater drives the plunger fuel pump, the combustion-supporting air fan and the atomizer to rotate. The oil pump sends the sucked fuel to the atomizer through the oil pipeline. The atomizer mix the air sucked by combustion-supporting air fan and atomized by fuel oil in main chamber through the action of centrifugal force. The air is ignited by the hot glow plug, and fully burned and then folded back in the rear combustion chamber. Through the inner wall and the heat sink above of the water jacket, the heat is transferred to the medium in the water jacket interlayer - the coolant. After heating, the medium circulates through the entire pipeline system under the action of circulating water pump (or heat convection) to achieve the purpose of heating. The exhaust gas burned by the heater is discharged by the exhaust pipe.
