The machine consists of cart, column, boom, welding arm & tool carriage, mechanical welding torch tracing device, flux treating system, gas circuit and electrical control system.
The machine consists of cart, column, boom, welding arm & tool carriage, mechanical welding torch tracing device, flux treating system, gas circuit and electrical control system.
The cart, column and boom are the framework of the machine. Welding arm and tool carriage are installed on boom, welding gun mechanical tracking device is used to support welding head and adjust the location of welding tip. There are several groups of idler wheels on the tool carriage to closely attach with the guiding rails for upper & lower and left & right traveling. Two groups of driving devices will be used to drive the traveling of welding arms in upper, lower, left and right direction.
The mechanical welding torch tracing device is installed at the lower part of welding arm and the wire feeding device of welding head is installed at the upper part, which can assure the welding tip be aimed at the welding seam, but kept with certain clearance. A pair of guiding wheels will be closely against two sides of welding seam of the workpiece. When the welding seam is bent in left and right direction, through the elastic reaction of spring, the cross slides at the top side of guiding wheel will be adjusted to left or right. When the welding seam is bent in upper and lower direction, through the elastic reaction of cylinder, the cross slides will be adjusted in upper and lower direction driven by the guiding wheel. Additionally, the manual left-right adjusting device for welding torch is equipped.
The flux treating system is composed of flux bucket and flux recovery machine. One set of flux bucket and flux recovery barrel are installed on welding arm. Flux recovery machine is set up on the cart. The flux will flow to the welding seam to be welded from the flux bucket through valve and then the welding work will be done by welding tip. The flux recovery pipe at the back side of welding tip will collect remaining flux to the barrel, which will be back to the flux bucket through valve after being filtered by screen. Dust will be sucked into the flux recovery machine and large block of flux will be remaining in the recovery barrel.
The electrical control system consists of electrical control box and operation panel. Through this system, all operations of machine, adjustment of welding parameters of welding machine and switches of flux recovery machine will be controlled and executed.
