12R22.5 Truck Bus Radial Tires Three Main Zigzag grooves Steel Wire Structure
Feature
The truck bus radial tires of 12R22.5, with three main improved zigzag grooves which having wider tread than tread pattern of prototype, is suitable for the steering position or all-positions of the trucks running on the multi roads, especially for the short and medium distance haul trucks running on the mixed roads, it is available in 14 sizes with 20-inch, 24-inch and 22.5-inch rim diameters, the series of tube type products ranging from 8.25R20 to 12.00R24, and tubeless products of 11R22.5, 12R22.5 and 315/80R22.5.
For the purpose of increasing the wide of footprint contact of this truck bus radial tire of 12R22.5 to improve the performance of tread wear and service life, the improved tread pattern design which having the narrow main grooves and closed shoulder are been applied.
The applications of the high wear formula for the tread compound, with wear abrasion enhancing, and help the truck fleets to reduce operating costing and increase economical efficiency.
The lateral sipes on the tread surfaces design, with grip performance improving, and promotes the tires’ resisting against the uneven wear, and V shape grooves design can effective against the stone retention in the groove and protect the grooves out of cracking.

Application
As the prototype of tread pattern of three main zigzag grooves which being advantage of ideal balance in traction, grip and tread wear, is widespread used on the short distance heavy-duty trucks running on the mixed road.
Compared with prototype products, the tires with tread pattern of three main improved zigzag grooves have narrow grooves, closed tire shoulder and more lateral sipes design on the tread surface. More wide tread and closed shoulder design can increase wear resistance of tread, and application of high wear material in the tread compound provides this tire product being excellent performance in the abrasion resistance.
There are some truck fleets with fixed routes of straight flat pavement, and their loaded is never over standard loaded. So the requirement of tire having excellent performance in the wear resistance, this truck bus radial tire of 12R22.5 with well performance of wear tread obviously is one of suitable tire products for those trucks.
