Lutein Description: Lutein, co-existence within zeaxanthin in nature, is a natural pigment belonging to carotenoids. It is the main pigment in the macular region of the retina of the human eyes.
Lutein is safe, non-toxic, photostable, heatproof, acidproof, and alkali resistant with strong coloring ability. It can be widely applied to the coloring of candy, seasoning, food, feedstuff, healthcare products, sugar coat of pills and tablet, and capsule.
In Europe and the United States, Lutein is used as food colorants and nutrients. For instance, It has been applied to beverage and infant food. In China, Lutein is widely used in feedstuff.
