The hydraulic cylinder has a wide range of uses and a competitive price. There are a variety of configurations available to meet the demands of many industries. Although there are many different types of hydraulic cylinders, they are worked on the same basic principle: the piston generates force by driving the rod with pressurized fluid. The force always be transmitted in two ways as below:
1. Single acting hydraulic cylinder
These hydraulic cylinders have one port, by which hydraulic oil is pumped to move the rod and extend. The rod retract by the weight of the load.
2. Double acting hydraulic cylinder
These cylinders have two ports, so the hydraulic fluid can be pumped in both directions to extend and retract the rod.
Tie rod, welded and telescopic are the most widely used type hydraulic cylinder, other customized hydraulic ram are also available for different applications.
1. Tie rod hydraulic cylinder
Tie rod cylinders are the most cost effective and flexible type of hydraulic cylinder, it consists of two end caps and is connected to the cylinder by four threaded steel rods, this makes repair simple. HRHD supply standard tie rod cylinders with different sizes.
2. Welded hydraulic cylinders
Welded hydraulic cylinder are widely used in mobile applications,the base ends are welded directly onto the tube, welded cylinders are more durable and working pressure could be higher than tie rod cylinder.We offers several ends for our standard welded cylinders: welded cross tube, pin-eye, clevis.
