What is a concrete mixer truck?

• From the definition, as the name suggests concrete mixer truck is a professional transportation of concrete vehicles, the upper part of the round mixing cylinder is extraordinarily prominent, and resembles a conch, so the car is also known as the conch car. On the road we see the tank of the concrete mixer truck is in a rotating state, the purpose is to prevent the concrete from solidifying.
• Analyzed structurally, the concrete mixer truck is modified based on the truck chassis, which is mainly composed of chassis, cleaning system, hydraulic drive system, sub-frame, mixing cylinder, operating mechanism, feeding and discharging system, towing wheels, escalator and other parts. Structure of concrete mixer truck

Chassis: There are many chassis used in Chinese mixer trucks, such as Heavy Duty Truck, Shaanqi, Foton, Dongfeng and so on. The mixer truck with small cubic capacity adopts 4X2 driving mode, and the mixer truck with larger cubic capacity will choose 6X4 or 8X4 driving mode.

Hydraulic system: The engine power taken out by the extractor is converted into hydraulic energy, then output into mechanical energy by the motor, and the reducer drives the mixing cylinder to rotate.

Mixing drum: the most important part of the whole vehicle, most of the mixing drum adopts light color. The mixing drum is a container for loading concrete, and the inner wall of the drum is equipped with spiral blades, which are indispensable for mixing concrete and feeding in and out of the material.

Cleaning system: mainly consists of water tank, air pressure gauge, valve, pipeline and other structures. Mainly play a role in cleaning the mixing cylinder, in addition to the cleaning system also plays a cooling effect on the hydraulic system.

Subframe: It is mainly composed of main beam, front platform and back platform, which plays the role of connecting the chassis beam as well as supporting the mixing cylinder.

Inlet and outlet system: Located at the rear of the vehicle, it is generally composed of an inlet hopper, an outlet hopper, a main unloading chute, a secondary unloading chute, and a bracket locking bar.
